In Science year two have been learning all about Habitats. For homework the class were asked to use an old cardboard box to create their own habitat. Children really took on the challenge and worked really hard at to home to create a variety of habitats. We had everything from Artic Tundras to Tropical Rainforests. Our amazing habitats are on display for all to see in the reception area. Well done for all of your hard work!

It was really hard work but we had lots of fun and it was all for a fantastic cause. We also had Mad Hair Day across the school in order to help raise more money. Well done everyone!!
There's A Hole In My Bucket
This week we listened to the song "There's a hole in my bucket" and as we have been learning all about materials this term in science we thought we could test some materials and find out which would be best to block the hole. We used plastic cups rather than buckets and tested paper, fabric, cotton wool and plastic. We found out that plastic was the best material to block the hole and stop any water from leaking.
