Our Maths Day, learning about shapes.
Maths Day!
The children have been learning about 2D 'Flat' shapes. They have been using straws, sticks and marshmallows to make different 2D shapes. This has given them the opportunity to investigate and count the properties of each shape, including sides and corners. They were able to use mathematical language to describe them.
