The Gingerbread Man
One of our favourite stories that we have learnt about this year is 'The Gingerbread Man'.
We created our own story maps to help us retell the story.
We loved coming up with actions as a class to help us retell the story using the class story map.
We worked in groups and used the story map and actions to help us retell the story.
We really enjoyed retelling the story!
Sequencing the story
First, we read through the class story map to retell the story of ‘The Gingerbread Man’.
We then sequenced the story using pictures. We used pictures alongside the story map to help us sequence the different parts of the story in the correct order.
We worked in groups to sequence part of the story. We also came up with sentences to retell parts of the story to match the pictures.
We enjoyed presenting our sentences alongside actions to the rest of the class.
