Reception have been reading the story 'Elmer' by David McKee.
Elmer the Elephant teaches us that everyone is unique and has something that sets them apart from everyone else. We should embrace our differences and always be true to who we are.
Reception have been learning how to create a story map through 'Talk for Writing.' The story map consists of pictures and actions, enabling the children to learn the story thoroughly and retell it in their own words.
