Christmas Carol Concert

Our school community came together to celebrate the joy and hope of the Christmas season with a beautiful Christmas Carol Concert, performed by the KS2 children for parents, carers, and families.

Through traditional carols, festive songs, Scripture readings and reflections, the pupils retold the Nativity story and shared the true meaning of Christmas—God’s love made visible in Jesus.

The concert was a joyful and moving occasion, filled with music, light, and the spirit of togetherness.

We are incredibly proud of all the children for their wonderful singing, confident performances, and reverent storytelling.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a special celebration.

City Centre Carol Singing for CAFOD and Save the Children

This Christmas, our Year 6 children took their voices into the heart of the city to spread festive cheer and raise money for two important causes—CAFOD World Gifts and Save the Children.

Singing a joyful selection of Christmas carols and other popular Christmas songs, the children performed for members of the public in the city centre, sharing the spirit of the season while raising awareness and funds for those in need around the world.

Their enthusiasm, kindness, and commitment to making a difference truly embodied the message of Christmas. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and grateful to all who supported their fundraising, including the parents who came along to join in. Every donation received will help bring hope and practical support to children and families both at home and across the globe.

Year 6 Lead CAFOD World Gifts Campaign

As part of their commitment to putting faith into action, our Year 6 children led a school-wide initiative to raise awareness of the CAFOD World Gifts campaign. They visited each class to share the message of giving with a global purpose, explaining how these special gifts—such as clean water, farm animals and school supplies—can make a real difference to communities around the world.

Through engaging presentations and thoughtful discussions, Year 6 encouraged younger pupils to think about the true meaning of Christmas and how we can help others in need. Their leadership, confidence, and compassion were a wonderful example of living out the values of Catholic Social Teaching, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts to inspire generosity and global awareness across our school.
