Liverpool Archdiocese School Singing Programme
The Liverpool Archdiocese School Singing Programme seeks to evangelise the young people of their schools by exposing them to the beauty, goodness and truth of Jesus Christ and his Church, in order to prepare them for their future role in society.
Their work has brought thousands of children to the Metropolitan Cathedral to lead the music in services and concerts including a choir of over 1000 for the Good Shepherd Mass in June 2025.
One of their Choral Directors deliver weekly singing sessions in Holy Cross to years 1, 2, 3 and 4 using their scheme of work, based on the Model Music Curriculum and working towards principles set out in the National Plan for Music Education. The Schools Singing Programme aims to aid evangelisation through a love of singing and performing sacred and secular music.
