Faith In Action Award

Faith in Action Award – Pin Level

Each year at Holy Cross, our Year 6 pupils take part in the Faith in Action Award – Pin Level, which is a national Catholic award that helps young people live out their faith through service, prayer and reflection.

This special programme, created by CYMFed (Catholic Youth Ministry Federation), encourages children to put their faith into action in meaningful ways, guided by the values of the Gospel and Catholic Social Teaching.

Through the award, our Year 6 children:

  • Reflect on scripture and how God calls them to love and serve others

  • Take part in acts of service at school, at home and in the wider community

  • Learn about Catholic Social Teaching, especially themes like dignity, solidarity and care for creation

  • Create a personal statement, sharing how their faith inspires their choices and actions

The Faith in Action Award supports their journey of faith as they prepare to move on from primary school. It helps them to recognise how they can make a positive difference as young disciples of Christ.

We are proud of our pupils’ commitment and how they live out our school’s mission through this award.
