'Living, Loving, Learning Together'
Year 6 Lead Pentecost Messy Church with Year 1
Our Year 6 pupils led a joyful and creative Messy Church session for Year 1, all centred around the celebration of Pentecost.
The session began with a short presentation and a dramatic retelling of the story of Pentecost, followed by prayers and lively songs that helped the younger children understand the coming of the Holy Spirit.
Afterwards, the fun continued with a variety of hands-on activities, including cake decorating, hat making, paper plane crafts, and creating doves and flames to symbolise peace and the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Year 6 showed wonderful leadership, kindness and creativity, helping to bring the message of Pentecost to life in an engaging and memorable way for our Year 1 pupils. It was a beautiful example of Faith in Action and our school family learning and growing together.
