Celebrations

In Reception, we help children develop their understanding of the world by exploring a variety of celebrations from different cultures and traditions. For example, we learn about Diwali, the festival of lights, and the ways families celebrate together; Bonfire Night, remembering history and enjoying safe traditions; Remembrance Day, thinking about peace and remembering those who helped others; and Holi, the colourful festival of spring and new beginnings. These experiences help children appreciate different cultures, traditions, and perspectives while learning about the world around them.
