Children in Year 4 had the special opportunity to attend the Advent Service at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, joining schools from across the archdiocese in a time of prayer and reflection. The service helped pupils prepare their hearts for the coming of Jesus during Advent, encouraging them to reflect on themes of hope, waiting and light. Experiencing worship in the cathedral setting deepened the children’s understanding of the wider Church community and supported their spiritual journey as they gathered together in faith during this important season of the Church year.
