Year 4

Welcome to our Year 4 class page. I am Miss Biggs, the Year 4 class teacher. Your child may also be supported in their learning by Ms Hagar. In our class, we love learning, working together and celebrating each other’s achievements. Every day is filled with curiosity, creativity, and a determination to do our best.

Throughout the year, your child will explore a rich curriculum, take on greater responsibilities, and continue strengthening their skills in reading, writing, maths, and Religious Education. We always work together with kindness, respect, and enthusiasm.

Each child has been given a reading book and a reading record you can write in. We strongly encourage reading at home every night to support fluency, vocabulary and comprehension. Book bags can be purchased from the school office if needed.

Homework is given out every Friday and is due back the following Friday. PE takes place every Tuesday and Thursday. On these days, children should come to school wearing their full PE kit so they are ready to take part comfortably and safely.

This page will keep you updated with important information, class news, and pictures of our learning. If you ever have questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch.
