Poetry Week
All the children at Holy Cross have just taken part in a Poetry Week where they have read, studied, rehearsed, performed and written poems. In addition, we were visited by poet Andy Tooze who carried out workshops across the school. At the end of this, parents were invited in to watch and listen to the children perform their own poems and those written by Andy. The week has been an inspiring success, with many children now writing poetry in their own free time!
