School Meals
At Holy Cross, our school meals are provided by a local company Food for Thought. All meals are cooked from scratch daily, on site, by our team of dedicated cooks, using ethically and locally sourced ingredients. Food For Thought's key objectives aim to provide a catering service which supports educational performance in school and helps the behaviour of children through the promotion of healthy eating. Our school meals are of an exceptionally high standard and adhere to current guidelines relating to healthy eating. Children have the opportunity to choose from a variety of choices and all dietary and religious needs are taken into consideration and carefully met.
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are now entitled to receive a free school meal this takes effect from September 2014.
School dinners are priced at £1.80 per day or a school provided packed lunch for £1.
