Home Learning

Dear Parents and Carers

During your child’s time away from school please take the opportunity to continue to help develop their learning.

Here are some ideas to help support learning at home:

  • Share a book
  • Drawing/painting and then writing their name on their picture.
  • Junk modelling out of old cartons, boxes etc.,
  • Counting and sorting items around the house
  • Baking and cooking

Readwise phonics

Readwise is a brillaint reading app used by KS2 and they have created a phonics programme for early reading. All year 1 children have been signed up to Readwise Phonics app, each session should only take between 5-10 minutes.  To get your child's log in details please email school.
